Ant TC1 from Dispatch Recordings will be at Shelter here in SF coming up soon, Tuesday August 16th. Senator and I are going back 2 back opening up, alongside resident Canadub. We have played in support of Ant on previous visits and trust me it will be a proper little night for fans of deep, upfront, rolling Drum & Bass.

We’re each doing an hour of D&B plus an hour of other stuff – Dubstep for me, Reggae & Hip-Hop for him. Between us we have loads of new beats plus the usual moldy oldies we hauled out of the cellar crates where they were aging to perfection next to the bottled bathtub moonshine.
10pm – 2am, no cover charge all night. And drink specials I think.

SDI, where I held my most recent residency for about 3-4 years is winding down. I’ll be playing at the last one on Dec 5th at Anu Bar here in San Francisco. It was a great formula: an intimate monthly D&B session at a small Irish bar downtown with no door charge. Even on a shoestring budget we managed to bring through tons of locals and out of towners, all for free. R.I.P. but I’m sure the remaining residents will be on to equally great projects soon enough.
