SDI, where I held my most recent residency for about 3-4 years is winding down. I’ll be playing at the last one on Dec 5th at Anu Bar here in San Francisco. It was a great formula: an intimate monthly D&B session at a small Irish bar downtown with no door charge. Even on a shoestring budget we managed to bring through tons of locals and out of towners, all for free. R.I.P. but I’m sure the remaining residents will be on to equally great projects soon enough.
